Celebrate Shetland’s knitting heritage throughout December with the Shetland Hogmanay Box!
Inside the box you will find 31 individually wrapped parcels to open from 1 – 31 December, creating a month-long experience of Shetland wool and design leading up to New Year’s Day (or, Hogmanay!).
Twenty-six parcels will each contain a 25 gr ball of Shetland Wool from five Shetland wool producers: Jamieson’s of Shetland, Aister ‘Oo’, Foula Wool, The Silly Sheep Fibre Company, and Laxdale Yarn.
Twenty-three balls are jumper weight and three are lace weight.
The remaining five parcels contain exclusive knitting patterns from Shetland designers: Anne Eunson, Elizabeth Williamson, Terri Laura, Janette Budge, and Rachel Hunter. The collection includes two Shetland lace accessories and three Fair Isle designs, all created especially for this year’s box.
Every project celebrates the living heritage of Shetland knitting through locally produced wool and the creativity of Shetland designers.

Boxes will ship by mid-October to arrive before 1 December.
Local pick-up is available during the week beginning 19 October.
Only 100 boxes are available. Once they are sold, we cannot make more.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
We are currently unable to ship to EU countries due to EU regulations affecting small retailers.
Customers are responsible for any import duties or customs fees that are not collected at checkout.
UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS:
We are required to collect a 10% tariff charge at checkout. If the tariff decreases before shipment, we will refund the difference. If it increases, we will invoice for the additional amount before shipping.
